Booking ahead is easy.

• More than seven days before your activity: pay a 20% deposit online to reserve your place. Pay the remaining balance online no later than seven days before your activity, or in cash at the Thailand Divers Dive Resort no later than the day before.
• Within seven days of your activity: full online payment is required when we confirm availability.

You are also welcome to pay the full booking price online at any time.

No previous scuba experience or diving certification is needed. Your PADI instructor explains the equipment, helps you practise the basic skills and stays with you throughout your three guided reef dives around the Racha Islands.

You must be at least 10 years old, able to swim and comfortable in the water to join this Discover Scuba Diving day trip.

Yes. Please review the PADI Diver Medical form before booking and complete the required questionnaire before diving. Depending on your answers, you may need written approval from a physician before you can take part.

Your ฿6,000 per person day includes three guided reef dives, PADI instructor support, a full set of scuba equipment, breakfast, lunch, refreshments and return hotel transfers from the included areas.

Scuba diving insurance is also included. We fit the equipment for you, so you do not need to bring your own scuba gear.

Yes. A private scuba instructor for your booking is included in the ฿6,000 price, even when you book on your own. Your instructor supports you with the briefing, skill practice and all three dives.

You travel on a shared day-trip boat. Tell us who is joining your group when you enquire so we can confirm your instructor arrangement.

Your day begins with hotel pickup, followed by breakfast and an instructor briefing on the boat from Chalong Pier.

• Morning: sail to Racha Noi and enjoy your first guided reef dive.
• Lunchtime: relax over a Thai buffet lunch onboard.
• Afternoon: complete your second dive around Racha Noi and your third around Racha Yai before sailing back to Phuket.

The precise dive sites and timings follow the conditions on the day. Chalong Pier arrival is normally 17:00–17:30; see the hotel-return answer below.

Return hotel transfers are included from Kamala, Nakalay, Kalim, Tri Trang / Merlin Beach, Patong, Karon, Kata, Nai Harn, Rawai and Chalong. The boat departs from Chalong Pier.

Most pickups are between 07:00 and 07:30. Your exact time depends on your hotel and is confirmed when you book. If you are staying outside the included area, separate transport is needed. See our hotel-transfer information or send us your hotel details when you enquire.

The boat normally reaches Chalong Pier between 17:00 and 17:30, with arrival in Patong usually between 18:00 and 18:30. Your hotel-return time depends on its location.

These are guide times and may change because of weather, currents, traffic and the day’s running order.

Yes. Scuba diving insurance is included in your course price and covers all scuba activities throughout your course. If you’d like more information, please contact us.

Bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection and a dry change of clothes. A small bag is useful for keeping your personal items together. We provide your scuba equipment, meals and refreshments.

Please complete the booking paperwork in advance and bring any physician’s approval required by your medical questionnaire.

Please tell us about your dietary requirements in advance and we will make every effort to arrange suitable food. If we cannot accommodate a particular request, we will let you know. You are also welcome to bring your own food, and we can help you store it onboard.

Discover Scuba Diving is a supervised introduction to diving, rather than a diving certification. If you love your first dives and want to become a certified diver, the next step is our three-day PADI Open Water Diver course.

Yes. For ฿500, we can fit a brand-new soft silicone comfort mouthpiece to your rental regulator before you dive. It will be exclusively yours to use, and you can take it home afterwards. Please request it when booking so we can have it ready for you.

If your plans change, please tell us as soon as possible. We will always try to move your booking to another suitable date where practical, although changes depend on availability and cannot be guaranteed. If you cancel, the 20% booking deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel more than seven days before the activity starts, we will refund anything you paid above the deposit. If you cancel seven days or fewer before the activity starts, no refund is due.

No refund is due for a no-show, a late arrival that prevents participation, or a decision to stop after the activity or course has started.

If Thailand Divers cancels because of unsafe weather or an operational reason, we will first offer you a suitable alternative date. If the new date does not work for you, we will give you a full refund of everything you paid, including your deposit.
