explore new depths

Learn about underwater navigation, deep diving, underwater buoyancy, fish identification during your PADI Advanced open water course.

After some skill practice with your instructor, you’ll make six open water dives over the two days. The advanced open water diving licence lets you explore more of the underwater world with a depth limit of 30 meters / 100 feet.

There’s no exam because this course is truly about having fun and gaining experience.

learn new skills

On both days, we come and collect you from your hotel lobby between 7.00-7.30 am and return you back between 17.00-18.00.

Your scuba diving instructor will meet you on the day trip boat, which you join at Chalong pier.
Depending on which day you start depends on the scuba diving locations you will visit – see below.

Breakfast is served whilst sailing to the first dive location and a buffet lunch is served after the first dive.
Five dives are required for the course so the first dive is just a fun dive – six dives over the two days.

If you are booking two or more people in your group, we will assign a Private scuba diving instructor just for your group over the two days at no extra cost. This is a fantastic way to complete your PADI Advanced Open Water course, and we find that people enjoy smaller groups when learning t

If you are a solo traveller and would like a personal instructor for the course, this is an additional 5,000 Thailand Baht. Otherwise, we will join you in a group of other solo travellers to a maximum group size of four students to one instructor.

Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Anyone, regardless of age, with shortness of breath, blurred vision, or any form of chest pain may need to reconsider diving. Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course.

We expect no issues but in the unlikely event of injury, it only makes sense to be prepared. Check your current travel insurance covers you for scuba diving activities. Be sure to contact them directly to make sure. If they do not then we recommend DAN Scuba Diving Insurance.

While we may not be able to accommodate every requirement please let us know in advance and we’ll make every effort to ensure there is food available for you. In addition, we can help you store your own food on the trip if necessary.

I am afraid that we are unable to incorporate a night dive with the day trip boat schedule.
