PADI Nitrox Diver Course

Choose your preferred course date in the Availability Checker, or message us on WhatsApp. Please tell us your current certification and age so we can confirm eligibility and availability.

To reserve your course, pay a fixed ฿5,000 online deposit per student. Once your deposit has been received, we will arrange access to the named student’s PADI eLearning/course materials.

You can then choose how to pay the remaining balance:

• Online: no later than seven days before your course starts.
• Cash at the Thailand Divers Dive Resort: no later than the day before your course starts.

You are also welcome to pay the full course price online when you book.

Booking within seven days? No problem, subject to availability. If you choose to pay online, the remaining balance is due as soon as we confirm your booking. Cash payment is still due at the dive centre no later than the day before.

No. You need a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification, or a qualifying equivalent from another recognised training organisation. The minimum age is 12.

Your existing certification, age and depth limits continue to apply.

Yes. Please review the PADI Diver Medical form before booking and complete the required questionnaire before diving. Depending on your answers, you may need written approval from a physician before your course starts.

Your ฿9,000 per person course includes PADI Enriched Air Diver eLearning and certification fees, one Racha Islands boat day with three dives using three Nitrox cylinders, a private PADI instructor, full scuba-equipment rental, dive-computer use, breakfast, lunch, refreshments and return hotel transfers from the included areas.

Scuba-diving insurance is not included.

Yes. A private PADI instructor for your booking is included. Your instructor teaches you to analyse and label cylinders, manage oxygen exposure and maximum operating depth, and set your dive computer for the Nitrox mix.

You travel on a shared day-trip boat.

Your day begins with hotel pickup, breakfast and Nitrox training on the boat from Chalong Pier. You will normally make two dives around Racha Noi and a third around Racha Yai, with lunch onboard between dives.

The precise dive sites and timings follow the conditions on the day.

Return hotel transfers are included from Kamala, Nakalay, Kalim, Tri Trang / Merlin Beach, Patong, Karon, Kata, Nai Harn, Rawai and Chalong. The boat departs from Chalong Pier.

Most pickups are between 07:00 and 07:30. Your exact time depends on your hotel and is confirmed when you book. If you are outside the included area, separate transport is needed.

The boat normally reaches Chalong Pier between 17:00 and 17:30, with arrival in Patong usually between 18:00 and 18:30. Your hotel-return time depends on its location.

These are guide times and may change because of conditions, traffic and the day’s running order.

Yes. You need your own suitable scuba-diving insurance for the course day. Your policy must cover your planned Nitrox dives in Thailand, including the applicable depth, dive date, dive-accident medical treatment, emergency evacuation and recompression-chamber treatment.

Bring your certification card or digital certification, confirmation of scuba-diving insurance, swimwear, a towel, sun protection and a dry change of clothes. Please also bring any physician’s approval required by your medical questionnaire.

We provide the course materials, equipment, computer, Nitrox cylinders, meals and refreshments listed above.

No. Nitrox training does not increase the depth limit of your existing certification and it does not make deeper diving safe by itself.

Its main benefit is reduced nitrogen exposure compared with air at the same depth, provided you remain within the maximum operating depth and oxygen-exposure limits for the mix.

Yes. This Thailand Divers package includes three Nitrox cylinders for the three Racha Islands dives, subject to your instructor’s checks and the planned mixes on the day.

You will analyse each cylinder and set your dive computer correctly before use.

No pool session is required. The PADI Enriched Air Diver course focuses on knowledge development and practical cylinder-analysis and computer-setting skills; PADI lists the dives as optional for the certification itself.

This Thailand Divers package includes three Nitrox dives so you can apply the training during a full Racha Islands diving day.

You can join our local diving courses and day trips wherever you’re staying on Phuket. If you’re still choosing your hotel, Patong—including nearby Tri Trang and Merlin Beach—and the southern areas of Karon, Kata, Nai Harn, Rawai and Chalong are convenient bases for diving from Chalong Pier.

Yes. For ฿500, we can fit a brand-new soft silicone comfort mouthpiece to your rental regulator before you dive. It will be exclusively yours to use, and you can take it home afterwards. Please request it when booking so we can have it ready for you.

If your plans change, please tell us as soon as possible. We will always try to move your course to another suitable date where practical, although changes depend on availability and cannot be guaranteed. If you cancel, the ฿5,000 course deposit is non-refundable and you keep any personal PADI eLearning/course materials already issued to you. If you cancel more than seven days before the course starts, we will refund anything you paid above the deposit. If you cancel seven days or fewer before the course starts, no refund is due.

No refund is due for a no-show, a late arrival that prevents participation, or a decision to stop after the activity or course has started.

If Thailand Divers cancels because of unsafe weather or an operational reason, we will first offer you a suitable alternative date. If the new date does not work for you, we will give you a full refund of everything you paid, including your deposit.
