17:00–17:30 Arrive back at the mainland pier, then continue by minivan to your hotel.

How do I make a booking?

If your trip is more than seven days away, you can secure your places with a 20% deposit.

The remaining 80% is due exactly seven days before the trip, and you may pay in full at any time.

If you book seven days or fewer before travel, full payment is required.

What time will I get picked up from my hotel?

Your exact pickup time depends on your hotel and covered transfer area and is confirmed before the trip.

What ages qualify for the child price?

Children aged 1–3 travel free. Children aged 4–11 pay ฿3,400. From age 12, the adult price of ฿4,800 applies.

What safety measures should I take while snorkelling?

Snorkelling is a popular activity, but it is essential to take safety measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Here are some recommendations:

Learn basic swimming skills and snorkelling techniques before you go.
Make sure you have a good fit for your snorkel equipment, including the mask, fins, and snorkel.
Avoid snorkelling alone, and always have a buddy system.
Know your limits, and don’t push yourself too hard. If you feel tired or uncomfortable, return to the shore or boat.
Be aware of and avoid marine life that can be dangerous, such as jellyfish, sea urchins, and scorpion fish.
Respect the underwater environment and don’t touch or disturb marine life or coral.
Wear a rash guard or protective clothing to reduce the risk of sunburn and skin irritation.
Use sunscreen to protect your skin from sun exposure.

When is the best time of year to visit Rok and Haa Islands?

The best time to go snorkelling in Rok Island and Ha Island is from November to May when the weather is dry, and the water is warm and clear. During this time, you can expect temperatures ranging from the mid-80s to low 90s Fahrenheit (28-32°C) and low humidity.

However, it’s essential to remember that the weather can be unpredictable, and conditions can change quickly. It’s a good idea to check the forecast before you go and be prepared for various weather conditions.

In general, you can expect sunny and warm conditions during the snorkelling season, making it a great time to explore the vibrant coral reefs and colourful marine life.

What is the luggage allowance for the hotel transfer?

A THB 200 transfer charge applies to each bag larger than 20 inches. Please tell us in advance if you will bring a large bag.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?

Please tell us about any dietary requirements when you book, including vegetarian meals or food allergies. We’ll check the available options for the island lunch and confirm the arrangements with you.

Cancellations and Refunds

If your plans change, tell us as soon as possible. We will try to move your booking to another suitable date where practical, subject to availability. The 20% booking deposit is non-refundable. More than seven days before the activity, we refund anything paid above the deposit. Seven days or fewer before the activity, no refund is due. No refund is due for a no-show, a late arrival that prevents participation, or choosing to stop after the trip has started.

Is this trip suitable for first time snorkellers?

The day includes a guide, snorkelling equipment and three planned snorkelling stops around Rok and Haa. If this is your first time or you’re less confident in the water, tell us before booking so we can help you choose suitable arrangements.

What time will I get back to my hotel?

The boat normally reaches the mainland pier between 17:00 and 17:30. Your shared minivan transfer continues from there, so hotel arrival depends on your hotel’s location and traffic. Message us for guidance for your hotel.

What should I bring and what equipment is provided?

Snorkelling equipment, fins and a towel are included. Bring swimwear, sun protection, a hat, sunglasses and a waterproof bag for your phone and valuables. A change of clothes is useful for the hotel transfer, and a little Thai baht is handy for optional purchases.

Are there toilets on the boat?

Yes, there are toilets on board the boat during your day trip.

Can the weather change the itinerary?

Yes. The snorkelling sites, order of stops and timings may change to suit weather, tides and sea conditions. The crew will choose suitable locations for the day’s snorkelling and island visits.

What happens if the trip is cancelled because of unsafe weather?

If we have to cancel your trip because of unsafe weather, we’ll offer another available date where possible. If that date doesn’t suit you, we’ll refund everything you paid for the booking, including your deposit.
