Two days of specialty training
Four deep training dives across the Racha Islands and King Cruiser boat days.
Equipment & PADI fees
Rental gear, dive computer, cylinders, required training equipment, eLearning and certification.
Meals & hotel transfers
Breakfast, lunch, drinking water and standard-area hotel transfers on both days.
Your own private instructor
Focused help with deep-dive planning, gas use, awareness at depth and ascents.
Personal diving insurance is separate. Any pickup outside the standard area is agreed before booking.

Ready for your next qualification?
Age 15 or older, with PADI Adventure Diver certification or a qualifying equivalent. Advanced Open Water Divers meet this entry requirement.
Complete the diver medical questionnaire and obtain medical clearance if the form requires it. Bring your certification details for your instructor.
What you’ll learn
Build your skills in deep-dive planning, gas management, narcosis awareness and controlled ascents. Certification follows completion of the knowledge and practical requirements; 40 metres is the recreational maximum, rather than a promised depth on every dive.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the same as Advanced Open Water?
No. Advanced Open Water covers a range of skills and normally extends adult training to 30 metres. Deep Diver concentrates on deeper recreational diving, with a maximum training limit of 40 metres.
Will every dive reach 40 metres?
No. Training progresses through suitable depths. Forty metres is the maximum limit, not a target for every dive. Your instructor selects each profile for the training requirements, conditions and your readiness.
Which dive sites will we visit?
Day one follows the Racha Islands route; day two follows the King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point and Koh Doc Mai route. Your private instructor chooses suitable training profiles and adjusts the plan to the conditions.
Can my Advanced Open Water deep dive count?
Your instructor can assess an eligible, documented Deep Adventure Dive for credit towards the specialty. Tell us about it when booking; this package is planned over two days.
Does the certification cover decompression or entering wrecks?
This is a recreational Deep Diver specialty. It does not qualify you for planned decompression, technical diving or wreck penetration; those require separate training.
